Job Brief
At HFN Hospitality LP, we are seeking a Grocery Clerk to join our team and help customers find what they are looking for while shopping in the store. As a grocery clerk, you will act as the first point of contact at our store by providing shoppers with information about products offered in the store. Likewise, your job responsibilities will include maintaining a clean work environment, organizing food displays, and stocking shelves with products for customers to buy.
Furthermore, you will deliver a high level of customer service to shoppers. You will also need to work directly with customers and complete various tasks around the store to keep the shopping area clean and organized throughout the day.
Requirements And Skills
- Proven work experience as a Grocery Clerk or similar role
- Proven customer service or retail experience is a plus
- Great attention to detail
- Good communication and people skills
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Responsibilities And Qualifications
- You will have to serve customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- You must also ensure that the grocery section of the store is well stocked for our customers
- As well as assisting in receiving, storing, and stocking products while ensuring proper rotation and quality.
- In addition, you will prepare food and baked goods as required to fill the Deli area.
- You must ensure that all prepared deli food is properly cooked and handled according to generally accepted Food Safe rules and regulations.
- As our grocery clerk, you will ensure that the premises inside and out are kept clean and tidy at all times. These include indoor, outdoor, and customer bathrooms.
- You will also process customer orders and payments.
